Just in time for fall ! New looks from New York based designer Kamrul Hassan’s label Metro Retro Apparel.
The Designer :
A native New Yorker Kamrul Hasan has been designing since the age of 14. In 2001 his passion for men’s clothing was discovered when he began working for the custom clothier Addison on Madison. Once graduating from college with a degree in graphic design and an evolved vision on men’s fashion, he began creating ties for himself and his close friends originally just as a hobby. Positive responses from friends and strangers prompted him to launch his own label, and in 2008 and the label was born.
About The Brand
Since their launch in 2008 Metro Retro has continued to deliver quality hand crafted products. A various assortment of neckwear and accessories that includes neck ties, bow ties, handkerchiefs, pocket squares and the ever popular “pocket circle” , a whimsical and stylish take on the traditional pocket square. According to Metro Retro Apparel their accessories are carefully handpicked and sourced within a 20-mile radius from local distributors, and hand crafted right in the heart of the city. Metro Retro Apparel takes the traditional and adds a fun punchy twist , combining luxurious fabrics such as cashmere , silk, english wool with dashing colors and patterns. Ties and accessories may range in price from $45 to $115. The team over at Metro Retro Apparel were kind enough to send me a few items, to try out for myself.
